Every year, in Dubai, as summer takes its leave, winter would make its entrance with its usual silent flair. Early mornings would be swathed in a cottony white fog, sometimes so thick, one can hardly see one's own hand stretched out in front. Window panes are white-out and streetlamps struggle its beams through to light the way. Car headlights dip low, fog lights turn high, drivers drive with much courtesy and caution while speed is unheard of.
I stood witness to winter's grandiose affirmation this morning as I peered out my apartment's open window to feel the cool morning breeze on my face.
At 6 a.m...

At 6.30 a.m...

By 7.15 a.m, the whiteness dissipated completely as the sun rays broke free and the city came back to full colour again.
White winter mornings. Always a pleasure.
MasyaAllah.
