Four Days and Counting..

Saturday 4th October 2008

Only on the 4th of Syawal am I able to update and upload anything about my recent Syawal celebrations, even if this post will be short, sweet and sengkat. Time is still a slippery little minx. That won't change. Oh..but this has:

At first, last week, in Korea, it changed to this:

And yesterday, the 3rd of October 2008, at Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa's beautiful Siloso Ballroom, it changed to this:

One of Azim's best buddies in Dubai, Mark The Angmoh/Macha Singaporean changed when he met Jin The Korean Princess a few years ago. For the better. And he only got better and better. And yesterday, Mark, as he kissed his very beautiful wife, was at his best. As both of them are when they are with each other.
The Old Mr and Mrs Azim wishes The New Mr and Mrs Hill a perfect lifetime of love. :) Thank you for letting us be part of yesterday's beautiful celebration. We were quite sad when it was over. Despite my eyes being a tad puffy from crying during the speeches. Such a wuss, I am.

And oh but another celebration is not over yet though so:

..Selamat Hari Raya, everyone! Don't we look like Tellytubbies? Aren't we blindlingly irritating? Thought our black Vespa, our black shoes, his black songkok and my black bag (my new arm candy makes its hari raya debut!) would take the glare off a little. And they did exactly that. Quite precisely took the glare off a little. The rest of the yellowness could still blind you while you're stuffing your face with ketupat.

But berhari raya we did, despite temporarily blinding other festivegoers. Though not exactly on our black Vespa. We pose with Vespa for this picture only, not for Rayagoing. Would love to though -it cuts through traffic jams like a dream- but it won't fit our Raya entourage of seven and kangkang-ing in a kain would be just.....naasty. But squeezing seven people into a five-seater is no joke. Thankfully, two five-seaters make it ten so that leaves three seats empty, with enough space for me to lean over to the side and fart at my sister while we were in the car. Heh.

Above all else, we hope you had a wonderful Hari Raya too. And hey...if we ever wronged you....maafkan. If we ever took something from you....halalkan. Iff we ever need anything from you....belikan. Heh. Okay..last part, kidding. Donch anger! Baru maafkan!

Have a lovely Aidilfitri, luvvies!
