Raihan check: At Dubai International Airport
Significant fact: My EK407 flight reached Dubai at 5.30am, from Singapore.
This has got to be the longest time I've spent in an airport, without a connecting flight to wait for, without my husband to canter after and without a burning desire to swipe plastic at Dubai's Duty Free. So what's the sustaining factor?
Free wireless internet.
Yes, I am a sucker for freebies, no matter how posh and classy I think I'd like to sound like. I can't get enough of this free wireless. I get it at Gillman Heights, I get it at Carlton, I get it at Modena.....THAT'S why my Multiply is flooded with pictures, long overdue pictures.
And no, I didn't get it at Singapore Changi Airport. Either they really don't have free wireless internet for personal laptops or they know I lost my pink IC five years ago and is now an illegal Singaporean.
I was in Singapore with Azim to collect my wedding pictures and videos. Selected pictures will be up soon. Azim's now in Colombo. I'm back in Dubai.
Now, I gotta go home soon and crash hard on something soft. I'm on standby today.
Give me another Singapore, dear Scheduling please?

Attended a course last wk, the speaker is American. He was raving how wireless and free Changi Airport is compared to most other airports in the world. So I was kinda surprised when I saw you said there wasn't any. Now I'm confused... Heheheh...

1)cars in dubai are cheap?? but how cheap? a few hundred dollars? for a porsche? for a murano? have YOU ever BEEN to dubai to know the shit ure talking about? have u ever been IN a porsche?
2)even ONE table at the ritz should cost a lot. c'mon, it IS the RITZ. SIX-star tau! so ballroom ke,carpak ke....waht's it to you?have YOU the means to have a wedding at the ritz AND at the Ritz-CArlton Suite which cost $5000++ per nite (check out the website!)?
3)read blog carefully, raihan bought a car in dubai AND a car in singapore AND had a Ritz wedding AND is helping her mom's many finances in singapore AND is actually super nice in person. how can u not admire a girl like that? u dun hav to be jealous. u can simply admire her filial piety.
